Gas Scrubbers

Scrubbers remove degradation products, surfactants, organic acids and other corrosive contaminants.

Gas treatment liquids like amines (i.e., monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), benfield solution) are used in gas absorption systems for the removal of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from natural gas. These gas treatment liquids are purified by granular activated carbon (GAC). The result is reduced foaming of the amines, reduced corrosion, lower amine make-up, higher amine quality and increased efficiency of the plant operation.
